I liked Grandfriends Morning because the grandfriends looked like they were having a great time and that made me happy.

Grandfriends Day

On Friday 22 May, our Junior School community warmly welcomed grandparents and special friends for our much-loved Grandfriends Day celebration. The day was a wonderful opportunity for students to share their learning, classrooms, and school experiences with some of the special people in their lives.

Guests were treated to a delightful showcase of performances from students across the Junior School, including the Junior String Ensemble, Catholic Schools Music Festival Choir, Junior Choir, and several impressive solo performances. The students performed with confidence, enthusiasm, and joy, making the occasion truly special for all in attendance.

My grandma gave me a little bottle and it made my heart feel full of love.

I liked making a photo frame with my grandparents, and I liked spending time with them.

— Victoria

It was heartwarming to see the pride on our students’ faces as they shared their learning and spent quality time with their loved ones. The morning reflected the strong sense of community that exists within our Junior School and the valued partnerships between home and school.

"I liked making bracelets, reading books with my grandfriends and showing them around the room." - Melia

We thank all grandparents and special friends who joined us and helped make the day such a memorable celebration.
