Maths + Homework Club(s)

As we begin Term 1, we would like to remind families about the return of Maths and Homework Clubs — a wonderful opportunity for students to receive extra support and extend their learning this year.

Both clubs will run every Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm in the Conway Space, starting in Week 3 of Term 1.

There’s no need to sign up in advance and students do not need to come to all sessions — students are welcome to attend whenever it suits them. To join, they simply attend any session and put their name of the list.

Students working on general homework are best supported in Homework Club which takes place in the main area of the Conway Space (C2).

Those focusing on mathematics (or science, as many maths teachers also teach science!) are best supported in Maths Club in C6.

Students may move between clubs if needed but should sign in at their primary area.

The sessions are open to all students in Years 7–12 and provide the chance to work on homework, assignments, and test preparation with the guidance of teachers — just like having a free tutor! In Maths Club, students can also explore extension problems and more challenging concepts.

A few important reminders for families: Please ensure your daughter is picked up promptly at 4:30 pm from the Molesworth Street gate, or encourage them to head to their bus on time. For duty of care, students are expected to remain until 4:30 pm. If a student needs to be collected early, please ensure pick-up is from the Molesworth Street gate and that a supervising teacher is notified so they can sight a parent upon collection.

Maths Club and Homework Club are great ways for students to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and make steady progress throughout the year — we encourage all families to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
