Preparations are underway for our 2026 Fete & Auction, one of the most anticipated and well-supported events in our College Calendar. This year, we are raising funds for the  refurbishment and upgrade of our science laboratories. This important project will provide our students with access to modern facilities and resources, supporting innovation, curiosity, and excellence in STEM education.

This family-friendly vibrant event offers something for the whole family to enjoy.

Event Program

Gates Open: 10am - 3pm
Auction Viewing: 10am - 2pm (located in the College Gym)
College Music Performances: 10:30am - 12:45pm
Principal's Tours: 11am and 1:30pm (meet at the St Dominic's marquee 10 minutes prior)
Chapel Tours: 10am - 12pm
Movie Screening of In Truth and Love - 140 Years of St Dominic's Priory: 11am and 12pm
Silent Disco: 10am - 3pm 

Silent Auction

Our 2026 Auction is again hosted on the Galabid.com online platform.  The Catalogue is available now for viewing, with the Auction open for bids from Friday 23 October until 2pm Sunday 25 October. 

 

Step 1: Register Online to Bid 

  • Visit the College's Gala Bid page via the link above
  • Click "Register" and follow the prompts to create your account

Step 2: Browse the Auction Items

  • Tap on each item to see photos, descriptions, and starting bids

Step 3: Place Your Bids

  • Click on the item you want and then enter your bid amount
  • You will be notified instantly if someone outbids you, you can then bid again
  • Auction closes at 2pm
  • Winners will be notivied immediately and receive instructions for payment (via the app or EFTPOS) along with collection details.

The 2026 Silent Auction has been ably supported by College families, who have contributed to Class Hampers and generously donated items.  We are grateful for your support.

Stall Appeals

An ongoing community tradition, stalls at each year's Fete are family-run. In the months leading up to the event, we are grateful for the enthusiasm and support of our students - particularly our Fete Ambassadors - who actively contribute their time, creativity, and requested items to these stalls.

Getting Here

St Dominic's Priory College is located in leafy North Adelaide, five minutes north of the city. Entrance into the College Fete is via the Oval Gate located on Molesworth Street, and weekend street parking is free. The nearest bus stop - Stop 5A Hill Street - is conveniently serviced by the Adelaide Metro FREE City Loop Bus as well as ticketed routes, and stops along Jeffcott Street and O'Connell Street are within an easy stroll.

Child Safeguarding

St Dominic’s Priory College is actively committed to fostering communities of safeguarding that recognise and uphold the dignity and rights of all children and young people:

  • Every person within the College who interacts with children and young people commits to establishing safe and supportive relationships.
  • Activities with children are proactively planned, organised and reviewed; with potential risks duly considered, reduced and eliminated where possible.
  • Our Community of Staff and Volunteers actively seek to become, and remain informed, of the causes and signs of child abuse and neglect.

To this avail, the College encourages children to attend the Fete with a responsible adult.  

Bathrooms are designated and clearly signposted as either; 'St Dominic’s Student Toilets', 'Family Toilets' or 'General Public Toilets'.  Please adhere to these guidelines which will be monitored throughout the day by College Staff.
