In the lead-up to the 2026 walk, our Year 11 students generously gave their time in support of this meaningful community event.
Students assisted with setting up the small cardboard hearts that lined Loved One’s Lane in nearby Wellington Square, helping to create a touching tribute for those walking in memory of loved ones. Each heart represented a personal story of love, remembrance and connection, and our students approached the task with care, respect and compassion.
On the day of the event, Sunday 31 May, students joined staff and members of the wider community in taking part in the sponsored 3km walk through North Adelaide. Their involvement reflected the spirit of service and solidarity at the heart of Walk for Love, as participants came together to honour loved ones and support the important work of The Mary Potter Foundation.
We are proud of our Year 11 students for the kindness and maturity they showed, both in their practical assistance before the event and in walking alongside others on the day.
