Year 9 Middle School Leaders Inspire Year 6 Students

Our Year 9 Middle School Leaders used their skillset to plan and deliver sessions for Year 6 students focused on leadership, legacy and resilience.

The impact of the sessions was evident in the thoughtful reflections from our Year 6 students. One student reflected on the importance of facing challenges:

“Resilience is when you make a mistake, you don’t give up. If you make a mistake, you find a way to fix it.”

Another Year 6 student captured the broader message beautifully:

“Everyone can be a leader.”

Teachers were impressed by the confidence and maturity demonstrated by the Year 9s, particularly those who presented to groups and helped ensure the event ran smoothly.

Through this student-led session, our Year 9 Middle School Leaders demonstrated that leadership is not simply about having a title. It is about confidence, responsibility, kindness and supporting others to grow.
