The End of Term

We have reached the last few days of Term 3 and we are all ready for a break.  It has been a fast paced highly creative term as last week’s activities fully exemplified.  A coverage of some of these events is inside this Bulletin:

  • Australian Mathematics Competition results are in – well done to all students who participated
  • We congratulate our Year 6 French students, who again placed first in their age category in the annual SAFTA Poetry Recitation Competition
  • Also in Year 6, we congratulate the SDPC White Badminton Team who were awarded bronze medals at the SAPSASA Badminton Carnival, held last Friday
  • News from the Primary School: the Year 3 Class recount their adventures on Pirate Day and their visit to the Maritime Museum; Year 5 visit the Planetarium; and Year 2 hosted their families for a bright and colourful Indian Showcase

  • Now’s the time to start getting your roses ready for the Rose Competition
  • Sign up to a Parent Roster for Fete Day. Many stalls are still in need of your help.  Thank you to all who have given so generously of their time
  • Sell / Buy those Art Union Raffle tickets in support of the Fete
  • Use your contacts to furnish an item for this year’s Auction

Upcoming Dates

  • Friday 28 September is the final day of Term 3 and will be dismissed at the normal time.
  • The Uniform Shop is open 10:30am – 1:30pm on the following dates during the Term Holidays:
    Friday 5 October | Saturday 6 October | Monday 8 October | Tuesday 9 October
