INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Today is International Women’s Day, and whilst the dynamics of a Girls’ School environment enable us to celebrate women and #InspireInclusion everyday, to do so on an globally-recognised date felt extra special. In the third issue of the 2024 College Newsletter, for Week 6 Term 1, we:

  • Look back upon last Sunday’s Old Scholar Mass, where generations of women were invited to view their commemorative paver; newly laid around St Dominic’s statue.
  • Feature photos from Monday’s Field Day. The countdown is now on until our Twilight Sports Day event on Friday 5 April.
  • Recognise our Reception – Year 12 Student Leaders, following Thursday’s Investiture; where we were privileged to have Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, in attendance.
  • Welcome new staff, and hear from the Director of Teaching & Learning, (Acting) Director of the Junior School, Year 1 & Year 7 classes, and English and Languages Learning Area Leaders.
  • Remind families of the second Parents & Friends Meeting for Term 1 – Thursday 14 March from 7:00 pm in the Adams Mayo Library.
