Gala Day 2017

Here at the College we pride ourselves on educating young women with a sense of compassion and an understanding of the importance for social justice.

  • Students and staff and our parent guests all enjoyed the opportunity at last Friday’s Gala Day to enjoy community in a very different way in the buying and selling for a good cause, in the talent on display in the Primary and Secondary Talent Quests and in the wide ranging costumed response to decades of the 20th Century.  We are proud to announce that the College Community raised $6,952 which will be distributed amongst the five choosen charities.

  • As part of a unit on Catholic Social Teachings, Year 6 students have been busy making soup for Fred’s Van.  We are grateful for the generous support of the Year 6 families who have been donating ingredients.

  • We are proud of the practical support shown by our Year 10s who took part in the annual Walk for Love in aid of the Mary Potter Foundation on last Sunday morning.  In the afternoon, half of them came on to take part in the Marian Procession Walk for Peace.
