Old Scholars’ Association

Staying Connected

From their first day of school at St Dominic’s Priory College, each girl who walks through the Priory gates becomes a part of our esteemed Dominican history. As a member of our diverse, tight-knit community, St Dom girls form lifelong friendships, and create valued memories and networks; all of which keep them connected with the College, each other, and the generations of students who have passed through the gates before them.

We have many ways for past students to remain connected with St Dominic’s and get involved:

Networking Opportunities

St Dominic’s Priory College aims to connect past students from different generations, and in doing so providing enriching social and professional networking opportunities.

St Dominic’s Priory College encourages Alumni to maintain links with the current College Community, through the activities of the Old Scholars’ Association and school events. Many past students return to the classroom to support and encourage current students by sharing their professional experiences across a host of careers.

Reunions and Events

Annual class reunions may be held every year for 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 etc. If you are organising a class reunion, are interested in helping to plan an event, or would like more information about what is coming up on the Old Scholars’ Calendar, please join the St Dominic’s Old Scholars’ Association Facebook Group or contact us on [email protected].

Old Scholars’ Association

The Old Scholars Association is an essential link between the College’s past and the present Community and is one of the key links between the College of today and its former students.

The Old Scholars’ Association is managed by a committee of alumni representatives that meet regularly throughout the year.  The AGM is held in March, with all members of the OSA welcome to attend. If you are interested in joining the Committee, please contact us on [email protected]

Walking in their footsteps

One of the great strengths of our Community is the continued support of the generations of families who have attended or are currently attending St Dominic’s Priory College. This is a wonderful testament to the Dominican Sisters who held the foresight to establish an “Advanced School in North Adelaide” in 1884 and a day school for the poor in 1889. Many girls have a mother, grandmother or great-grandmother who have attend the College and each year we publish a photo featuring all of the daughters of Old Scholars who are currently students.
