Year 6 visit Migration Museum

The Year 6 classes will visit the Migration Museum, where they will undertake a guided session called ‘Unpacking Histories’, about real-life migration stories. They will spend time in small groups, touring the permanent exhibits in the museum. Students will gain a glimpse into the different waves of migration to South Australia and how the arrivals of new cultural groups have influenced society. This links in the History topic of ‘Migration’ and will help students gain informative background knowledge.
