How Did Our Lives Become so Plastic?
Co-founder of take3.org, Tim Silverwood, visited our Year 9 and 10s recently, and we feature a thoughtful student article about the impacts of plastic pollution in this week’s Bulletin to, coincidentally, tie-in with today’s World Oceans Day.
There is also student reflections from last week’s Poetry in Action incursion, and news from Primary about China Day (Year 1s), Da Vinci Decathalon (Year 5/6), Monday’s Languages Day and an update from the Children’s University gardeners.
Some upcoming dates to take note of:
- FRIDAY 10 JUNE: Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea. 8:00am – 10:00am in the Primary Art/LOTE area. Why not pop in for a coffee before work?
- SUNDAY 12 JUNE: Old Scholars’ Association Supper & Movie Fundraiser screening of Money Monster. Tickets are still available – see inside the Bulletin for details.
- MONDAY 14 JUNE: Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday.
