Happy Father’s Day

Wishing the Fathers and father figures of our community a belated Happy Father’s Day!

Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognise the contributions that fathers and father figures make to the lives of children.  At our Chapel Mass on Friday, our Reception Class celebrated the great men in their lives, in the most genuine of ways.

Also in the Week 7 Bulletin

  • We welcome descendants of our College’s Foundress, Mother Rose Columba Adams (1832 – 1891), who visited St Dominic’s last Thursday.  It is thanks to the legacy of £6,000 which Mother Rose Columba’s father left her in his will, that our heritage Chapel was ever built.

  • We look forward to meeting our incoming 2020 Year 7s, and their families, at this evening’s orientation event.

  • SRCs are to be congratulated on their efforts with their ‘Self Love Week’ initiative.

  • A reminder to families to please take care on our roads at, particularly pick-up and drop-off times.  Adelaide City Council traffic inspectors are regularly in attendance.

  • Our Year 9 cohort reflect on last week’s Year 9 Retreat.

  • There is important information which has gone home with the eldest daughter in each family.  Click here to read communication from the Chair of our College Board, Mr Jim Howard.
