Wearing the Uniform

WEARING THE NEW COLLEGE UNIFORM

|         How do I know what I can wear with the new uniform suite?

The College Uniform Policy is accessible here.

|         What does the ‘formal uniform’ include for College events?

Students can select from a suite of items, with blazer, hat, jumper, official hair accessory, socks and black school shoes as formal pieces that draw the uniform together.  These will create a collectively cohesive look. The ‘Formal Uniform’ will be required for special College events.

Students who participate in a formal occasion outside of the College will also be required to wear their school hat.

|         Has St Dominic’s Priory College considered sustainability?

St Dominic’s Priory College has indeed considered sustainability in its operations. Noone, the uniform supplier, is registered with Ethical Clothing Australia, which ensures transparency throughout the Australian supply chain, covering all aspects from design to dispatch. This process includes annual compliance audits conducted in partnership with the Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Union.

Noone’s major manufacturing partner, Trisco Pty Ltd, based in Indonesia, is recognised for producing high-quality tailored apparel for various international companies. Noone is vigilant about the complexities of overseas supply chains and maintains a clear and transparent relationship with Trisco, with regular visits and audits to ensure ethical production practices.
