Building Foundations

Week 4 Bulletin:

While you may not be able to identify exactly what is happening at 74 Hill Street from the photograph, it is an exciting step in the building program!  The crane, the rubber hose and the men at work are starting to pour the slab on the floor of the new classroom studios which will be occupied by our Year 12s in 2019.  The following weeks will give us a new perspective on what will be a beautiful facility.

Also in the spirit of “building foundations”:

  • Online Safety Presentation: The massive difference between modes of communication when parents were young, and those of their children in 2018 requires new learning for parents and expert guidance.  Parents of Years 5 to 12 are invited to give priority time to a special Online Safety Presentation to be presented live by Sonya Ryan of the Carly Ryan Foundation, in the College Hall on Tuesday 5 June at 6.30pm.
  • Career Expo: Year 10, 11 and 12 students have opportunity next week to explore their post secondary options at the Combined Schools Career Expo; a joint initiative of St Dominic’s Priory College, Wilderness School and Blackfriars Priory School.
  • Parent Community: Get your tickets now for the SDPC Parents & Friends 80s Quiz Night, to be held in the College Hall on Friday 1 June: https://stdo.ms/Quiz18  To learn how you can support us on the night come to tonight’s Parents and Friends Meeting at 7:30pm and lend a hand with the organisation.
